Goals To Make For The New School Year

FOOD DRIVE AT MISSISSAUGA SECONDARY ACADEMY

December is just a few weeks away and the holiday season will be here before we know it. To many of us, the holiday season is a time when we get together with our families, enjoy a delicious meal, laugh and get a visit from Santa. Unfortunately, now a days, not everyone is as fortunate as we are. Although this time of year is a time for receiving gifts, there is now better feeling than when you give back to your community and those in need.



That is why this year, Mississauga Secondary Academy is working with the food bank in order to provide food for those who are in need.

We believe that when you are fortunate enough to have the basic things in life, such as a roof over your head, a family and food to eat, then you should do whatever you can to make this holiday season a better one for those in need. Helping out does not mean spending hundreds of dollars or giving someone a home. It means that by spending just a few dollars, you can offer a family in need some food for the holidays. You can make their holiday season a better one by knowing that someone will enjoy this food and be grateful for the help. It does not take a lot and I hope that this year, our food drive will be a successful one and that we will be able to help a few families who really need it.

There is no greater feeling than giving back. Knowing you made someones holiday season even just a little bit better is a gift in itself. We are proud to have students who are willing and happy to help the less fortunate!
